Meet Tamara
For nearly thirty years, I stood at the front of a classroom and watched a generation grow up. I saw the spark in kids who felt seen — and the slow fade in the ones who didn't. I celebrated students who soared, and I grieved the ones I lost, some to despair and a few for good. Those losses never left me. They convinced me of something I now give my life to: our children aren't rejecting faith because it failed them.
About Tamara
-
When I lost students I had poured into, I couldn't accept that nothing could have been done. So I went looking for answers — not in theory, but in the trenches. I spent years studying Scripture, researching how faith actually forms in a young person, and serving youth in real discipleship. What I learned reshaped everything: children don't need more information about God. They need encounter — and the ancient, steady practices that make room for it.

I believe a child rooted in genuine intimacy with Christ can withstand almost anything — the anxiety, the questions about identity and sexuality, the loneliness so many carry quietly. But that intimacy is cultivated, not assumed. It grows through honest conversation, worship, community, service, and time-tested spiritual practice. My calling is to put those tools back into the hands of the adults who love these kids most.
